New York Marriott Marquis Hotel

Great rooms great service....staff was as pleasant as could be!!!

We had a room from where we had a direct view of Times Square - great.

The carpet in the room was not very pleasant (old & not flat laid out), the beds were certainly very old and "worn out", the bathroom had no make-up mirror.

o time for this, this was meant to Q & A. Good experience but not very personable some of meal prices specially breakfast was exaggerated

The hotel is excellent as usual, great location in the heart of Times Square. The staff are friendly and always willing to assust in anyway they can. The double room I thought I had booked with Booked.net was unable to be honoured by the hotel the 1st night as the hotel was booked out for Labor Day weekend ( this was the fault of Booked.net for not allowing you to clarify the type of room you would like i.e single, double beds etc...) - however the front desk called me the next day and moved us into a double bedroom. They even gave us a refrigerator for the entire stay which was great!! The breakfast is gorgeous as it always is, I fully recomend the Marriott Marquis New York to everyone - Fantastic location in beautiful New York City!! : )

Nothing - I love this hotel

The location is excellent - but the hotel is extremely expensive.....

The room was very spacious and in an excellent position for sightseeing. We also eat at The View and had a very good meal with excellent views.

No free wifi in the room! Also no pool or spa facilities.

I loved how central the hotel was and how helpful the staff were

The position in Times Square is ideal. All the sights we wanted to see was within walking distance and as we were on the 25th floor, we had a quiet room :) The View restataurant is amazing, yet expensive but as this was a wedding treat it was worth it!

The location is perfect. We also like the View restaurant a lot.

The staff was rude. There was no place for us to park a car and we were told to go elsewhere. Not helpful, not professional.

Some of the stuff were not friendly and they ask for a tip with kind a rude way

View Restaurant Food- not good. I was really disappointed with the food. I had looked forward to treating my family for a special occasion and we had the buffet. I did book my reservation as far back as April and had looked forward to this. Unfortunately we were all very disappointed with the buffet particularly the service and the cost. I also feel I would need to pass these comments on to anyone else thinking of booking the buffet.

It was an amazing hotel great location and helpful friendly staff lovely food and amenities - just what we needed after two nights caught up in the hurricane

The location is fantastic! As first time visitors to New York, we found this hotel is right in the middle of Times Square and it is very easy to find your way around from here. Many attractions are within walking distance, and the subway is close by. There are restaurants and eateries, tour options, shopping and theatres all outside your door!

Excellent location ,lovely view IF IF your room faces times square ,rooms are clean and spacy.

The receptionest at regisration desk was realy not as nice as the hotel ! In the begining he offered us 2 diffrent floors for the 2booked rooms ! then he challanged me to prove this request and other requests such as non smoking ,connected ,facing times square and higher floors .And when i showed my registration copy He said this reservation was through BOOKING .COM so does not guarantee any of this .After bad discussion i manaeged to get what i got.SO was this right ? beside i paid for each room amount of $1037 instead of what i expected! so i was upset from his way , he should know that the first thing a hotel guest expect is a SMILE .
